MK Constructors Uses GIR Mobile ID for Faster Fuel Access

Nov. 13, 2025

Fueling in the field needs to be quick, practical, and easy for authorized users. For companies with drivers, operators, and equipment moving between job sites, a simple identification process can make a real difference in day-to-day fueling.

With GIR Mobile ID, a user’s phone can act as their fueling credential. Instead of relying on a physical card or fob, authorized users can identify themselves at the GIR Fuel Management System using their mobile device.

For MK Constructors, the process is simple: walk up with a phone, identify at the terminal, and start fueling within seconds.

I just walked up with my phone... and within a few seconds I’m pumping gas.

For field operations, this can help simplify fuel access while reducing the need to manage physical credentials. Cards and fobs can be misplaced, forgotten, or shared. GIR Mobile ID gives companies another way to control access while keeping the fueling process convenient for users.

The feature also supports accountability. Each Mobile ID is tied to a unique device, which is assigned to a driver or user in the GIR software. This helps ensure fueling activity is still recorded by user, vehicle, and transaction details.

I’ve been pumping fuel here for a decade, and when we moved to this system, it has been a lot better.

For MK Constructors, the result is a faster and easier fueling experience that fits the pace of job site operations. The phone becomes the credential, and the fueling process stays simple without losing the control and tracking expected from a fuel management system.
