Improving Fuel Visibility at Purity Oilfield Services
July 3, 2024
Purity Oilfield Services supports customers in the Permian Basin, one of North America’s major oil and gas regions spanning West Texas and southeastern New Mexico. The company provides water, trucking, disposal, rental equipment, and specialty field services in an environment where vehicles and equipment are central to daily operations.
With a fleet that includes approximately 24 tanker trucks and 28 drivers, Purity needed a fueling process that could keep up with regular field activity while providing a clear record of each transaction.
After changing fuel providers, Purity began using a GIR Fuel Management System to help manage and record its fuel transactions. The system supports a more organized fueling process by tracking activity across drivers, vehicles, and dispensed fuel.
My fueling experience is marvelous compared to what we were doing before.
For field service operations, fueling needs to be reliable and practical. Trucks may be operating across demanding terrain, changing site conditions, and busy schedules. When drivers need fuel, the system has to work quickly and consistently.
A system that responds quickly and records transactions consistently can make a noticeable difference for drivers and administrators. It keeps the fueling process moving while giving the business better information to review after the fact.
The system’s much better. It reacts a lot quicker and does what it’s supposed to when it’s supposed to.
For Purity Oilfield Services, that means improved transaction tracking, a smoother fueling experience, and better visibility into a daily operating expense that matters across field operations.
